2024 NRL Grand Final
Melbourne Storm
v Penrith Panthers

Sun October 6 2024, 7:30pm
at Accor Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park / Wanngal

Melbourne Storm
Team list not yet announced.

Casualty ward: Nelson Asofa Solomona (suspended, 2025), Jonah Pezet (ACL, 2025), Marion Seve (ankle, 2025)

Early mail: Asofa-Solomona's failed downgrade bid at the judiciary last night means we're likely to see Tui Kamikamica come into the front row from kickoff, and one of Joe Chan or Lazarus Vaalepu to join the bench. No other changes are expected to a Storm team in otherwise good health.

Penrith Panthers
Team list not yet announced.

Casualty ward: Nathan Cleary (shoulder, Grand Final), Scott Sorensen (hamstring, TBC)

Early mail: All eyes are on Scott Sorensen. If he passes fit, the change will be Luke Garner dropping to the bench, Sorensen to start second row, with the likelihood that Matt Eisenhuth drops to the reserves list. Cleary has a shoulder issue but will be named and play - whether he needs painkillers to stay on the field left up to Penrith's medical staff.
