Crichton starts back row for Cordner, while Isaah Yeo, Nathan Brown and Dale Finucane fill the bench spots. Payne Haas starts with Junior Paulo benched. James Tedesco is the new captain.

24 hour warning - Keary drops out along with Reagan Campbell-Gillard.

24 hour warning - Wayne Bennett has gone ham on the teamlist. Xavier Coates is out and Moeaki Fotuaika is cut from the reserves. The subsequent changes see: Holmes to wing, Allan to fullback, both Lee's (Brenko centre, Edrick wing) join the side, Capewell to second-row, Su'A benched, Lui dropped to reserves.

Late mail - No further changes. Hunt and Lui drop out.

24 hour warning - in contrast to the Maroons' changes, NSW just cut two reserves - namely Jarome Luai and Nick Cotric. Coach Brad Fittler has told media the side will almost certainly run out 1-17 as named.
