Leeds' Australian second-rower Matt Adamson on Tuesday confirmed he will leave the Rhinos at the end of the season to return to the National Rugby League with Canberra.
The 31-year-old, who has made 64 appearances for Leeds since arriving at the start of 2002, has agreed a 12-month deal with the
Raiders, who have also snapped up Hull skipper Jason Smith for 2005.
"I have loved my time at Leeds and I always assumed that Leeds would be my last club," he said.
"However, the offer to join Canberra and play a season for one of the most famous clubs in the world was too good to miss."
Leeds coach Tony Smith said: "I can fully understand Matt's decision and back him 100 per cent."
