Titans strike new partnership with GCDJRL clubs

The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans have today showed they haven't forgotten where they came from by donning the jersey of their junior team as the club unveiled a new partnership with all Gold Coast District Junior Rugby League clubs.

To mark the launch of a new ambassador program between the two organisations, Jetstar Titans players joined 16 junior players from the GCDJRL for a special photo at the start of training before Titans players trained in their junior club jerseys for the first segment of the session.

The new ambassador program will see Jetstar Titans players allocated specific GCDJRL clubs in order to assist with promotional and community appearances throughout the 2012 season.

The Jetstar Titans have long held a strong relationship with the GCDJRL but this partnership is designed to enhance the relationship between players and the individual clubs.

Many of the Jetstar Titans players have been linked as ambassadors of the junior club they grew up playing for including Jordan Rankin (Burleigh Bears), Steve Michaels (Mudgeeraba Redbacks), Bodene Thompson (Parkwood Sharks), Luke O'Dwyer (Tweed Heads Seagulls), Ryan James (Bilambil Jets) and Kayne Lawton (Tweed Coast).
