Tony Archer interim NRL referees boss

The National Rugby League has appointed Tony Archer as its interim NRL Referees Elite Performance Manager pending a review of the refereeing structure.

NRL head of Football Todd Greenberg said today that the departure of Daniel Anderson following the 2013 Rugby League World Cup provided an opportunity to examine the best model for the high performance unit and its interaction with refereeing across the game.
