THE 2004 Concept Constuctions Development Squad was launched last Monday night at the Redcliffe Leagues Club. The squad had been introduced to the 11,000 strong crowd at the Roosters vs Broncos trial at Dolphin Oval the previous Saturday.
Then last Saturday they travelled down to Pizzy Park to take on the Burleigh Bears in the annual begining of the season clash. The Bears came out on top 40-22 in a seven tries to five victory.
Coach Neil Bishop said "that everybody showed their ability in patches". It was a tough physical encounter with the punishing defence causing plenty of spilt ball.
Best for the Dolphins were under 17 team members Khan Kelly, Jamie O'Dea, Ryan Guest and Tim Yee from the under 16's.
The full squad is
Dominic Fallini, Ashley Reilly, Wayne Bond, Chris Torrington, Michael Pares, Rodney Carr, Henry Coutts, Mitchell Simpson, Nathan Morris, Adam Turnbull, Tim Yee, Andrew Rickert, Nathan Hughes, Foisa Peni, Jamie O'Dea, Stuart May, Khan Kelly, Jordon Brown and Michael Lorrigan.
