LONG suffering NRL fans will have good reason to smile this morning with an announcement that a NRL game will finally be available on both the PC and PS2 platform with a release date yet to be confirmed but it's thought the game will be available by Christmas. ARL name Australian side for test against Great Britain

THE Australian selectors have chosen the side to take on the British Lions on Friday night at Aussie Stadium 7.30 pm AEST. There have been a few surprise selections with a casting vote on two positions needed by ARL chairman, Colin Love, believed to be lock and wing. There are two new rookies on the bench, in Willie Mason from the Bulldogs and Brent Tate from the Broncos.

ARU target Johns for 2003 World Cup

IT has been reported in todays Daily Telegraph that the ARU are keen on signing Andrew Johns for next years Rugby World Cup. According to Jeff Miller of the ARU, age is no barrier with Johns already 28 and will be nudging 30 by the time the Rugby World Cup rolls around. Miller also said they would look to Johns being a part of the 2007 Rugby World Cup with Johns to be 33 at the time.
