LEAGUE Wrap: Round 22, 5-7 August 2005
Parramatta back rower Nathan Hindmarsh and Newcastle half back Andrew Johns are the big movers in this week?s Leagueunlimited.com Player Awards. Dark horses in the competition, both players scored maximum points on the weekend and move up 18 points overall, just four points shy of Cowboys? full back Matt Bowen who still holds top spot on 22 points.
MARK my words, there are a few surprises left in this comp. Last week saw some incredible footy played with the Dragons and the Tigers, with either side trading barbs as to who can lay claim to the entertainers tag. They both have some quality flesh running around and one wonders if Gasnier and Marshall should perhaps enter ?Dancing with the Stars? just to realise the full potential of their fancy footwork.

With just five rounds remaining, the race to decide the winner in this year?s Leagueunlimited.com Players Awards is hotting up. Cowboys? full back Matt Bowen is still in front on 22 points and Storm half back Matt Orford is looking solid on 20 points.
WITH a six-pack of games remaining to play out in the 2005 premiership, fans of rugby league are in for a supreme treat as 12 clubs clamour for the right to contest 20 kilos of bronze in the first weekend of October.
THIS week of footy has produced some tough decisions for the selectors, who have had to decide between as many as six halfbacks and seven props. We?ve included a number of players in the hard-done-by?s category and alongside an almighty bench, proving that the Round 20 League Unlimited Team of the Week would cut an imposing figure to any opponent, including a Spanish Armada.
LEAGUE Wrap: Round 20, 22-24 July 2005
