With just five rounds remaining, the race to decide the winner in this year?s Leagueunlimited.com Players Awards is hotting up. Cowboys? full back Matt Bowen is still in front on 22 points and Storm half back Matt Orford is looking solid on 20 points.
WITH a six-pack of games remaining to play out in the 2005 premiership, fans of rugby league are in for a supreme treat as 12 clubs clamour for the right to contest 20 kilos of bronze in the first weekend of October.
THIS week of footy has produced some tough decisions for the selectors, who have had to decide between as many as six halfbacks and seven props. We?ve included a number of players in the hard-done-by?s category and alongside an almighty bench, proving that the Round 20 League Unlimited Team of the Week would cut an imposing figure to any opponent, including a Spanish Armada.

Matt Bowen is back amongst the points and maintains his lead in this year?s Leagueunlimited.com Player Awards, the Cowboys? fullback is sitting on 22 points and two points clear. But last year?s winner Matt Orford is making his charge, the Storm half back scoring maximum points and moving up to 20 points overall, and second position.
THE comp is an absolute pineapple at the moment. Just when you think you?ve got things figured out a crazed posse of Mongols ride into town and rearrange your saloon. This situation was typified by the plight of the Dragons on Sunday afternoon. A loss would have seen them reeling in 11th position but their big victory over the Sea Eagles propelled them into 6th.
