Teamlist Tuesday Analysis - 2016 NRL Round 12

Sam's back to look at the first 'Big Bye Round' of the 2016 NRL Season. Here are your ins and outs together with fantasy studs and duds for Round 12.

1. Jordan Kahu 2. Greg Eden 3. Jack Reed 4. James Roberts 5. Lachlan Maranta 6. Anthony Milford 7. Ben Hunt 8. Jo Ofanhengaue 9. Andrew McCullough 10. Adam Blair 11. Alex Glenn 12. Jaydn Sua 13. Jarrod Wallace
Interchange: 14. Jai Arrow 15. Herman Essese 16. Tevita Pangai Junior 17. Kodi Nikorima

In - Herman Ese'ese, Greg Eden, Jai Arrow. Jaydn S'ua, Lachlan Maranta, Tevita Pangai Jr

Out - Corey Oates, Corey Parker, Darius Boyd, Josh McGuire, Matt Gillett, Sam Thaiday

Analysis - Brisbane see a host of changes due to Origin as per usual at this time of year, with 6 players missing from their regular line up. Jordan Kahu moves to fullback with Greg Eden and Lachlan Maranta coming into the side on the flanks. Exciting rookie, Jaydn S'ua will start in the second row. Kodi Nikorima is joined on the bench by former Bulldog Herman Ese'ese, 1 game rookie Jai Arrow and Raiders junior Tevita Pangai Jr. Despite Brisbane missing half their side, they do still have superstars Anthony Milford and Ben Hunt in the halves.

Supercoach Studs - Ben Hunt (60) has a high breakeven this week, however he is a great point of difference over this period. Matt Gillett (110) was outstanding against the Cowboys, scoring 2 tries but is missing through Origin.

Supercoach Duds - Corey Parker (51) is a certain sell over the Origin period.  Likewise Corey Oates (9) who (in hindsight for many) was a definite sell last week and lost a stack of cash leaving the field early with dizzy spells.  Anthony Milford (19) had a shocker against the Cowboys but is an absolute must have.  James Roberts (28) looks far back in the NSW centre queue at this stage.

1. Jordan Rankin 2. David Nofoaluma 3. Tim Simona 4. Kevin Naiqama 5. Josh Addo-Carr 6. Mitchell Moses 7. Luke Brooks 8. Tim Grant 9. Dene Halatau 10. Ava Seumanufagai 11. Josh Aloiai 12. Chris Lawrence 13. Elijah Taylor
Interchange: 14. Sauaso Sue 15. Matt Ballin 16. Kyle Lovett 17. JJ Felise

In - Kevin Naiqama, Sauaso Sue

Out - Aaron Woods

Analysis - The Tigers were less than impressive against the Knights but came away with the 2 points in the end. Aaron Woods and Robbie Farah (who was out last week) are out through Origin duty. Woods is replaced by Sauaso Sue, while Kevin Naiqama returns to the centres. Fullback James Tedesco has not been named and returns next week. The Tigers won't get a better chance to defeat the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium and will be under pressure to make it 2 wins on the trot.

Supercoach Studs - Jordan Rankin (87) was outstanding at fullback last week but looks set to be moved back to the wing when Tedesco returns to the side. Elijah Taylor (70) has emerged as a buy option for this week, he played 70 odd minutes for the second week in a row and looked sharp with the ball in hand, setting up a try and line break to inflate his score. Those may remember he was formerly an 80 minute player at the Warriors with a solid workrate and if you think he can continue to chime into the attack he is a buy over the Origin period. Josh Addo-Carr (70) is set for a huge $74k price rise with another try scoring effort. His job security is a worry, with Tedesco due back next week and Jordan Rankin likely to move back to the wing, he looks to be a quick smash and grab for the cash and hope he can find the line against the depleted Broncos.

Supercoach Duds - Michael Chee Kam (50) has been named 18th man, so keep an eye on teamlists prior to kickoff, he is dual position at centre/backrow which may be handy. Matt Ballin (3) nearly got off to a perfect start having a try disallowed with his first touch and then being knocked out minutes later. He again starts from the bench this week.

1. Jason Nightingale 2. Kalifa Faifai Loa 3. Euan Aitken 4. Timoteo Lafai 5. Kurt Mann 6. Gareth Widdop 7. Benji Marshall 8. Leeson Ah Mau 9. Mitch Rein 10. Russell Packer 11. Tyson Frizell 12. Joel Thompson 13. Michael Cooper
Interchange: 11. Jake Marketo 15. Dunamis Lui 19. Josh McCrone 17. Will Matthews

In - Benji Marshall, Joel Thompson, Kurt Mann

Out - Josh Dugan, Tyson Frizell

Analysis - Despite the Dragons scoring over 20 points for the first time this season, they couldn't get the win against bitter rivals the Rabbitohs. They have a golden chance to defeat a highly depleted North Queensland in the own backyard in Wollongong. Josh Dugan is missing through NSW duties, which sees Jason Nightingale move to fullback with Kurt Mann coming onto the wing. Joel Thompson comes back from suspension to replace Tyson Frizell who has not been named despite it being likely he is 18th man for NSW, so check late mail. Halfback Benji Marshall also returns from a hamstring injury.

Supercoach Studs - As mentioned, Tyson Frizell (58) has not been named but is an option if released from NSW duties.  Euan Aitken (76) has been outstanding but it's a bit late now.  Will Matthews (63) and Mike Cooper (55) continue to be good bye options.

Supercoach Duds -Gareth Widdop (36) should improve with Benji Marshall's return taking some pressure off. Jason Nightingale (36) moves to fullback while Josh Dugan (60) is away but is a risky pick up.

1. Lachlan Coote 2. Kyle Feldt 3. Javid Bowen 4. Kane Linnett 5. Antonio Winterstein 6. Jahrome Hughes 7. Ray Thompson 8. Ben Hannant 9. Jake Granville 10. Scott Bolton 11. Gavin Cooper 12. Ethan Lowe 13. Jason Taumalolo
Interchange: 14. Rory Kostjasyn 15. John Asiata 16. Coen Hess 17. Patrick Kaufusi

In - Coen Hess, Rory Kostjasyn, Javid Bowen, Ray Thompson, Jahrome Hughes

Out - Johnathan Thurston, Michael Morgan, Matt Scott, James Tamou, Justin O'Neill

Analysis - The Cowboys have lost 5 players to Origin and unlike the Broncos also lose their key play makers in Jonathan Thurston and Michael Morgan. This sees Ray Thompson come into the #7 and rookie Jahrome Hughes handed his debut at five-eighth. Javid Bowen replaces Justin O'Neill in the centres while Coen Hess and Rory Kostjasyn come on to the bench. Ben Hannant and Scott Bolton will be the Cowboys' new front-row partnership. It should be noted that the Cowboys won this corresponding fixture last year 18-12.

Supercoach Studs - Jason Taumalolo (70) will take on more ownership without their front row enforcers out and was terrific last week against the Broncos.  Jake Granville (63) was also great last week and is a consideration over the bye period.

Supercoach Duds - Kyle Feldt (14) had a shocker last week, which allegedly cost him a Queensland Origin debut. The Cowboys will be pleased to have him in the squad.

1. Jack Wighton 2. Edrick Lee 3. Jarrod Croker 4. Joseph Leilua 5. Jordan Rapana 6. Blake Austin 7. Aidan Sezer 8. Shannon Boyd 9. Josh Hodgson 10. Paul Vaughan 11. Iosia Soliola 12. Elliot Whitehead 13. Shaun Fensom
Interchange: 14. Kurt Baptiste 15. Jeff Lima 16. Luke Bateman 17. Joseph Tapine

In - Iosia Soliola, Shaun Fensom

Out - Josh Papalii

Analysis - Canberra will be looking to make it 2 wins from 2 against Canterbury in 2016, as they welcome the Blue and Whites to Canberra Stadium on Sunday in easily the game of the round. The Raiders are relatively unaffected by Origin, missing only Josh Papalli. This is offset by the returns of Iosia Soliola and Shaun Fensom returning from injury. The Raiders will be looking for revenge on the Dogs after a sensational Josh Reynolds field goal from the sideline stopped them from an incredible win in this corresponding match last season.

Supercoach Studs - Josh Hodgson (81) started from the bench against the Warriors and the tactic was successful, with the England hooker playing his best game in the past month.  Jarrod Croker (78) has averaged over 94pts in the last 3 games, which has seen his price skyrocket. Luke Bateman (49) may struggle for big minutes with the return of Shaun Fensom but should get some more cash with a low breakeven. Blake Austin (62) scored his highest score of the season and would be a brave choice given the Raiders inconsistent form.

Supercoach Duds - Joseph Leilua (38) crashed back to earth with a low 38pts however is still a keeper. Aidan Sezer (3) has omitted during the week that he is disappointed with his form.

1. Sam Perrett 2. Curtis Rona 4. Kerrod Holland 5. Tyrone Phillips 6. Josh Reynolds 7. Moses Mbye 8. Aiden Tolman 9. Michael Lichaa 10. James Graham 11. Raymond Faitala-Mariner 12. Greg Eastwood 13. Tim Browne
Interchange: 14. Sam Kasiano 15. Adam Elliot 16. Danny Fualalo 17. Craig Garvey

In - Adam Elliot, Danny Fualalo

Out - Josh Jackson, David Klemmer

Analysis - Canterbury will be out to avenge their Round 5 loss at Belmore Sports Ground when they travel down the Hume Highway to take on the Raiders. Canterbury have lost Josh Jackson, David Klemmer, but Josh Morris has been named despite being named in the NSW squad. New recruit Raymond Faitala-Mariner moves to the starting side, with Tim Browne to start at lock. Danny Fualalo and Adam Elliot come in the 17. Tony Williams was not named in the 17 after picking up a hamstring injury.

Supercoach Studs - Tyrone Phillips (101) was a terrific pick up last week scoring a hat trick against the Roosters, Will Hopoate is due to return next week, which will likely push him out of the 17. James Graham (67) should already be in your team and looks to be a keeper this season. Josh Reynolds (94) was sensational against the Roosters and will be fired up for another big game after missing out on NSW selection.

Supercoach Duds - Sam Perrett (10) came crashing back to earth against his former club quickly disappointing owners after they looked like geniuses the week before.  Moses Mbye (19) was extremely quiet against the Roosters but has averaged over 60pts this season. Michael Lichaa (37) loses out with Craig Garvey (9) eating into his game time from the bench.

1. Jake Mamo 2. Cory Denniss 3. Sione Mata'utia 4. Nathan Ross 5. Akuila Uate 6. Jaelen Feeney 7. Trent Hodkinson 8. Sam Mataora 14. Tyler Randell 16. Josh King 11. Tariq Sims 12. Pauli Pauli 15. Korbin Sims
Interchange: 9. Danny Levi 10. Daniel Saifiti 17. Mickey Paea 20. Lachlan Fitzgibbon

In - Cory Denniss, Jaelen Feeney, Sam Mataora

Out - Dane Gagai, Brock Lamb, Jack Stockwell

Analysis - Newcastle host the Eels at Hunter Stadium in Monday Night Football and have had to make some forced changes to the side that were defeated in Round 11 by the Wests Tigers. Dane Gagai has been selected for Queensland, which sees Jake Mamo move into the #1, with Corey Denniss coming back into the side on the wing. Young gun Brock Lamb has injured his ankle, ruling him out for 6 weeks, with Jaelen Feeney coming into the side in the halves. Prop Sam Mataora returns to the front row replacing Jack Stockwell.

Supercoach Studs - It was an improved performance from the Knights with star players Dane Gagai (79) and Trent Hodkinson (78) playing well. Jaelen Feeney (DNP) returns to the side at five eighth and is a huge bonus for those teams who have held him as a non-playing reserve for many months.

Supercoach Duds - Akuila Uate (17) has been a shadow of the blockbusting force he was a few years ago.

1. Michael Gordon 2. Semi Radradra 5. Clinton Gutherson 4. Brad Takairangi 19. Bevan French 6. Corey Norman 7. Kieran Foran 18. Daniel Alvaro 9. Isaac De Gois 10. Danny Wicks 11. Manu Ma'u 12. Beau Scott 13. Tepai Moeroa
Interchange: 14. Kaysa Pritchard 15. Peni Terepo 16. David Gower 17. Ken Edwards

In - Vai Toutai

Out - Michael Jennings

Analysis - Parramatta have now lost 2 in row since their salary cap scandal was exposed and now face an almost impossible task of making the Top 8 in 2016. Michael Jennings is Parramatta's sole representative in Origin this year and has been replaced by Vai Toutai.

Supercoach Studs - Semi Radradra (54) is a solid captain choice this week and could potentially go massive if the Eels are on.  Manu Ma'u (83) is a great pick up over the bye period as he plays in the next tough bye round in Round 15. Vai Toutai (DNP) replaces Micheal Jennings and with a low breakeven he could be a tidy pick up this if things get out of hand for the Knights. Michael Gordon (58) could also benefit as the sides goalkicker.

Supercoach Duds - Corey Norman (42) and Brad Takarangi (29) have struggled in recent weeks.
