The Rabbitohs have made some changes to their front row with George Burgess starting in jersey #17 ahead of twin brother Tom (bench), while Dave Tyrrell will also drop to the bench in favour of Tim Grant who will start. At hooker Issac Luke comes in wearing jersey #23, while Glenn Stewart is the new face on the bench as he faces off against his former club including brother Brett. Nathan Brown and Cameron McInnes are the players omitted.

The Sea Eagles have just one change with Willie Mason ruled out. Justin Horo takes his place.
