Fensom & Croker cleared for Saturday

Canberra's Shaun Fensom and Lachlan Croker have both been cleared of serious injury going into the Green Machine's first away trip of the season to Newcastle this Saturday.

The pair are expected to be named in the Raiders' lineup released this afternoon to make the trip to play the Knights. Fensom played just one minute of his side's victory over the Roosters on Saturday after being forced off with a concussion, while Lachlan Croker was felled with a shoulder injury on his club debut in the second half.

Their longer-term prospects also are the recipients of good news, with halves Blake Austin and Aidan Sezer both expected to return in the next 3-5 weeks after sustaining injuries in Round 1, while hooker Adam Clydsdale is looking at a return either this weekend against his former club or next week when the Raiders host the Titans.

In the naughty corner, Joseph Leilua has responded to both charges levelled at him in Saturday's win - he'll accept the two game ban for a dangerous throw on Shaun Kenny-Dowall, but is set to challenge a contrary conduct charge for slapping Roosters forward Dylan Napa, the result of which will be known after a Wednesday night judiciary hearing at Rugby League Central. If found guilty, he'll miss a total of three weeks.
