Reynolds eyeing Round 7 comeback

Rabbitohs half Adam Reynolds is keen to get back on the field - and has bookmarked his side's Round 7 clash with the reigning premiers North Queensland as the time for it.

The pointscoring machine hasn't seen any action since being felled in a Kane Evans tackle in the Bunnies' season-opening win over the Roosters, and doesn't want to risk an early return and subsequent re-injury, but believes the time is right if he was to return in three weeks from now.

"I'd like to think Round 7 or 8 would be ideal, that's six weeks from it happening" said Reynolds, "but if it's not right, I won't be pushing it at this stage of the season. It's a long year ahead."

Meanwhile rumours swirled after Sam Burgess was cleared of any serious injury that the hulking English lock may be a chance of taking the field against the Bulldogs in the Good Friday classic, though coach Michael Maguire would not confirm or deny those reports.
