RESULTS: 2016 Sydney Metropolitan Women's Rugby League Round 2

Round 2 of the SMWRL was held this weekend with the Redfern All Blacks, Mounties and Cronulla-Caringbah remaining undefeated at the top of the Division 1 ladder.

At Roberts Park, Mounties were again involved in a closely-contested match and led by six points to four at half-time over Greenacre. The second half saw Mounties hold off last year's Premiers for a final score of 16-12, with both teams scoring three tries and only the goal kicking of Kiya Simon proving the difference.

In Division 2, Minchinbury came up short of a maiden win against Berala, while Glenmore Park posted another strong win to go to the top of the ladder.
