MATCH REVIEW: Three players facing bans

Three NRL players are facing time on the sidelines and a further three have been charged out of the first seven games of Round 10.

St George Illawarra forward Joel Thompson is looking at one match out after being issued a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge for his hit on Canberra half Blake Austin, Martin Taupau is facing a mammoth three weeks out for a dangerous throw on Brisbane's Matt Gillett, while Warriors' centre Solomone Kata is looking at a week on the sidelines for dangerous contact on Penrith's Jamie Soward in his side's 30-18 loss on Saturday.

Two Eels - hooker Isaac De Gois and second rower Beau Scott were charged with Grade 1 Tripping from Friday's loss to South Sydney, while Wests Tigers' stand-in fullback Justin Hunt faces a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge from his 'coathanger'-style hit on Moses Mbye (pictured) on Sunday. All three will escape suspension with an early plea.

Each of the six players have until 12pm Tuesday to enter their pleas.
