The Bulldogs have today signed Andrew Ryan to a three-year deal. With several backrowers expected to retire over the next couple of years Bulldogs coach Steve Folkes says Ryan will add to the depth of the Bulldogs squad.
"We've kept our eye on Andrew after missing out on him a couple of years ago and I think he's got what we're looking for to fill the number 12 jersey. We'll probably lose a couple of senior players from that position over the next few years so he'll be a welcome addition to the side," Folkes said.
In other Bulldogs news all players came through yesterday's win over the Newcastle Knights injury free. Mark O'Meley (jaw), Travis Norton (bicep), Adam Perry (ankle), Glen Hughes (hamstring) and Shane Marteene (knee) all remain on the long-term injured list however Willie Talau (ac joint) is a chance of playing against the North Queensland Cowboys on Saturday if he survives training this week.
