Another sell-out!

Following on from yesterday?s bumper crowd at Aussie Stadium, Saturday night?s Grand Final Qualifier between the St George Illawarra Dragons and the Wests Tigers is officially sold out.

Wests Tigers season ticket holders today purchased the premium reserved seating bays that had been reserved for them. These seats went on sale at 9.00pm this morning. The 10,000 general seats that were still available at full time yesterday have also been picked up.

It represents one of the fastest sell outs in finals history.

The NRL today also repeated the fact that it had been impossible for the match to have been switched to an alternate venue.

While this matter had been investigated it became immediately apparent that the number of pre-purchased seats, corporate packages and advertising contracts that had been in place, as well as the stadium member arrangements meant that such a late transfer was impossible.
