Broncos Cruise To Victory Over
Tigers

The Brisbane Broncos have defeated the Wests Tigers 38-6 at Leichhardt Oval this afternoon. The conditions were wet and blustery but only one team turned up to play football.

The Wests Tigers dominated the early possession but failed to post until late a match that never really got out of second gear. Tim Sheens has a squad devoid of a decent playmaker and it showed today. Whenever the Tigers made ground into the Broncos red zone, any semblance of structured play went out the window with one out plays and ineffective kicks the order of the day.

The Brisbane Broncos did enough to win the match with Darren Lockyer the star. Lockyer was well supported by Brent Tate who gave the Tigers outside backs headaches all afternoon.

The Broncos face a fresh Cowboys outfit at ANZ Stadium next weekend while the Tigers welcome the bye.
