Dragons retain Ryles, Hornby

St George Illawarra co-captains Jason Ryles and Ben Hornby have agreed to terms with the NRL club for a further three seasons, until the end of 2010.

Prop Ryles, 28, had previously been linked with a move to Newcastle or an English Super League club while fullback Hornby, 27, was always expected to stay with the competition's last-placed club.

Ryles says he's relieved and excited to be staying with the club.

Meanwhile, South Sydney have refused to confirm they have signed Sydney Roosters star Craig Wing to a four-year deal from next year.

The Roosters yesterday took the unusual step of posting a farewell message to WING on their website, saying he had decided on a longer deal at Souths than the two-years offered by the Bondi club.

But the Rabbitohs say no deal has been finalised.

The Roosters claim the contract with Souths will be Wing's last in Australia.
