Penrith coach John Lang has refused to concede that his career is over despite being replaced at the NRL club next season.
Lang, who coached the Panthers to their second premiership in 2001, will be replaced by Canberra's Matthew Elliott from 2007. He says he will not apply for the vacant Newcastle and Canberra positions but would consider offers if he were to be approached.
