Lauiti'iti to leave NRL behind
him

Former New Zealand Warriors forward Ali Lauiti'iti will move to England and play in the English Super League, turning his back on the National Rugby League.

Lauiti'iti was dumped by the Warriors last month and a race for his signature immediately began, with up to 12 NRL clubs interested.

But the former Dally M Second Rower of the Year believes he will be better off in England and will make a decision on which club to play with early next week.

Wigan are the hot favourites to snare his signature but three other clubs are believed to be in the race.

It is believed that no Australian club could match the offers by English clubs, who do not operate under a strict salary cap.
