Manly, Eels, Dogs, Cowboys, Broncos

Manly has named injured halfback Matt Orford for its crucial game with Melbourne on Saturday. Orford injured his knee in Friday's win over the Bulldogs but will play in the match, which the Sea Eagles need to win to ensure a top four finish and home final.

Skipper Ben Kennedy, who has a quadriceps injury, has not been named.

Meanwhile Parramatta has rushed halfback Tim Smith back from a broken collarbone and named prop Michael Vella on a five-man bench for a possible early return from an ankle problem.

And hooker Tony Grimaldi has compounded the Bulldogs injury woes, ruled out for four weeks with a bulging disc in his neck.

Up north, centre Josh Hannay will play his 150th and final game for the Cowboys on Friday night after being recalled for the final round clash against Parramatta. Hannay has been recalled after spending the past fortnight in the Queensland Cup and despite the Cowboys recording a last-start 34-12 win over South Sydney.

Skipper Travis Norton has been named on the bench despite battling a shoulder injury and is expected to play his last game before retirement. The Eels clash will also mark the final games in North Queensland colours for winger Matt Sing, Gavin Cooper and Clint Amos.

Elsewhere, Justin Hodges has retained the fullback duties ahead of Karmichael Hunt for Brisbane's final round clash with the Warriors.

Coach Wayne Bennett has named the same 18-man squad which he picked last weekend against Parramatta. With the Warriors such a physical force, Bennett's bench is likely to include four forwards with youngster Darius Boyd the player most likely to be omitted.

Brisbane is promoting the game as a farewell to prop Shane Webcke who's retiring at the end of the season. Sunday's Suncorp Stadium clash could be his last home appearance unless Brisbane finish in the top four and clinch a home final.
