Preview: Warrington v Les Catalans (Round
6)

New Catalans Dragons head coach Mick Potter is confident his side can lift themselves off the bottom of the table.

The 43-year-old Australian met up with the players and the rest of the coaching staff when they arrived in England on Thursday to prepare for Saturday?s engage Super League game at Warrington.

Potter arrived in Manchester 24 hours earlier to find his side propping up the table after four defeats from the first five rounds and instantly discovered the size of his task when he was handed a tape of last Saturday?s 58-10 thrashing by Leeds.

?They sent me a couple of DVDs but I was on the plane by then and the only game I?ve seen was the one against Leeds when I arrived,? he said.

?Hopefully that?s not the best of what they have got. Looking at their body language, they weren?t too happy with the performance.?

Although the Perpignan club are immune from relegation in their first two seasons, Potter realises it is imperative they quickly halt their losing run if they are not to lose all the momentum built up by their opening win over Wigan.

?I am concerned over the results,? he said. ?No-one wants to lose. There is no doubt about the actual ability of the players and there were touches in the Leeds game where they were competitive.

?So there is no reason why they can?t do it for 80 minutes and not have the lapses in concentration. Now it?s become a confidence thing for them I suppose.

?It?s heads down and work hard. If we work on those little things, the results will turn at some stage. Focusing for the whole 80 will part of the key processes over the next few weeks.?
