CFMEU Canberra Raiders crafty halfback Michael Dobson returns to first grade for the big clash against the Dragons on Friday night, with the young number seven keen to turn in a good performance in his return to the top grade.
Dobson replaces Todd Carney who was suspended indefinitely on Saturday afternoon, following an off-field incident.
Dobson is the only change to the Raiders seventeen which defeated the South Sydney Rabbitohs two weeks ago, but the Raiders Coaching staff has named both Trevor Thurling and Ben Jones on an extended bench for the match.
Neville Costigan has been named to start in the match despite having to play state of origin on Wednesday night, and a decision on his inclusion will be made after the origin clash towards the end of the week.
