Shane Rodney extends life at
Penrith

Young Panthers forward Shane Rodney has signed a two-year contract extension with the Premiers, capping a great 24 hours after being included in the City Team announced yesterday.

This is the first representative honours for the 20-year-old local junior from Emu Plains, who made his first grade debut in 2002 and played 26 games last season, including the Big One, and now sports a premiership ring.

Rodney is the latest Penrith player to re-sign, joining teammates of Joe Galuvao, Luke Swain and Joel Clinton in extending their stays out west and forming a tight knit squad.
