Tigers won't give up without Marshall

Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens has refused to concede his team can't defend its NRL premiership without Benji Marshall after yet another loss without the star playmaker.

The Tigers sorely missed Marshall in their 32-10 loss to the Bulldogs yesterday and have won just 14 of their 50 matches without the Kiwi pivot since his debut in 2003. Sheens says he doesn't want to talk about Marshall any more this season because it does him and his side no good.

The Tigers hope to welcome back Anthony Laffranchi, Bryce Gibbs, Paul Whatuira, Daniel Fitzhenry and Brett Hodgson next week.
