The Vodafone Warriors have confirmed Kevin Locke is the player who is to be interviewed by police investigating a sexual assault complaint which he strenuously denies.
Locke's lawyer John Haigh QC today told the club Locke wanted his name to be published to avoid speculation. He said Locke also wanted to make it clear he had done nothing wrong, no charges had been laid and he is co-operating fully with police.
The club will respect the police process and will not be making any further comment.
