North Queensland remains on top of the NRL ladder after a weekend when three of the top four sides lost. Brisbane bucked the trend to be in third place after the 30-6 win over Penrith and Melbourne is second after thrashing the Knights 52-6.
Manly moved into sixth spot following their 40-14 victory over the Bulldogs yesterday, with halfback Matt Orford boosting his chances of snaring the NSW number seven jumper.

Perry appeared to lift his knee into Melbourne hooker Nathan Friend during a scuffle midway through the Storm's 52-6 victory over the Knights on Saturday night.
Storm winger Jake Webster's likely to find himself in trouble over a lifting tackle on Newcastle fullback David Seage. Webster's teammate Michael Crocker was mistakenly placed on report over the incident.
