Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves
Preview

Wigan Warriors host Warrington Wolves at the JJB Stadium on Friday evening with an 8pm kick off in the final home game of the regular season in the Tetley's Super League.

Wigan go into the game knowing a victory will secure home advantage against St Helens next weekend (Saturday 6.05pm kick off ) in the Play-Offs.

Looking ahead to the game Coach Denis Betts said he expects a very tough battle,

"They will come here wanting to win there is no doubt about that. Paul Cullen will have them highly motivated, Wigan v Warrington derbies are always fantastic games. They have been playing pretty well in the last month and they come to the JJB wanting to go out on a high with a win and a scalp which will set them up for next season."

"We control our own destiny and a know a win will give us what we are after which is fourth spot; we can't worry on other games because you then start to lose focus. Going into Play-Offs and finals you have to be performing well and we don't have the luxury here of being able to change things around at this moment in time."

On the injury situation, Terry Newton misses out with his dislocated thumb but on the rest Betts added,

"Scully is getting better, Brian Carney is still out, Terry O'Connor is OK with his back now."

After the game the whole squad will do a lap of honour around the Stadium to thank the fans for their support throughout the season and there will be presentations to the players who are leaving the club at the end of the campaign.
