The Panthers and Warriors have met twice before in finals football with Penrith prevailing both times in the 2003 Preliminary Final and 2018 Elimination Final.

The Warriors lost six of their past seven matches at Penrith; their last win occurred at the venue in 2019.

Penrith have won their past seven matches against New Zealand going back to 2019.

Dylan Walker comes into the halves after Shaun Johnson was ruled out with injury earlier in the week. Freddy Lussick is the new man on the bench.

Luke Garner will replace Izack Tago in the centres in the only change from the team selected on Tuesday.
