Huge changes for Melbourne. Slater, Munster and Croft are all out of the side, which sees Hughes play fullback, Jacks come in at five-eighth and an NRL-sanctioned addition of Scott Drinkwater at half. Tim Glasby is benched with Welch starting up front, and Ryan Hoffman is added to the bench.

Penrith have two changes - Wayde Egan and Corey Harawira-Naera are out. Sione Katoa (hooker) will line up in the starting side while Jack Hetherington joins the bench.
