FLEGG Shine Written by Wests Football Club Tuesday, 05 July 2005 Western Suburbs Jersey Flegg side put in their best performance of the season to down the 4th placed Sharks at Henson Park on Saturday. The Magpies, coming off two losses and the bye, put their season firmly back on track with a strong all round display that will have the leading teams looking over their shoulders. The Flegg team went into this game without their in form fullback, Shannon Gallant who had been called into the premier league team. He was replaced by Don Thompson who was returning from injury.

JETS Fly Past The Magpies Written by Wests Football Club Tuesday, 05 July 2005 A gutsy first half effort by Wests wasn't enough to prevent the Jets taking off and continuing their outstanding season. A four try to nil second half performance from the Bluebags overturned a half time deficit and leaves the Magpies stuck at the foot of the Premier League ladder.

MAGPIES Unable to Hang On. Written by West Football Club Monday, 27 June 2005 The Magpies were hit hard by injuries leading into this game and had to call on Shannon Gallant and Peter Mannion from Jersey Flegg and four players from the Balmain Tigers in order to field a team. The Magpies were fortunate in that the Jersey Flegg team had a bye. Despite a spirited performance Wests were unable to hold out the Dragons and went down 20-10.

Magpies and Balmain finally match up

IT wasn't the prettiest performance, but the Magpie's win over Balmain last night at Leichhardt was built on good old fashioned ticker.
