Dear Diary

MONDAY 8:10am. Ouch. Did yesterday really happen? A hammering ? both on and off the fields. Sh*t, we suck. After 20 years of never missing a game, I promise never to watch another St George game. As for going to the club afterwards and dancing to DJ Otzi, that was just letting off steam. That?s it for me. NO MORE FOOTY. Time for the Mercury to arrive at the newsagent. The Gravy Train

WHAT is in a name? Nothing. Or everything, depending on whom you ask.

Panthers Go On the Prowl and Growl

IT was all the P's tonight, when Penrith's key players, Preston, Puletua, Priddis and Prichard ran amok against a luke warm opposition.

Half Hearted Sharks No Match For Cocky Cowboys

IT was all one way traffic tonight at Shark Park as the Cowboys gave Cronulla a 36-10 lesson in rugby league. Played in good night time conditions, the Cowboys lead from the start and didn?t give the Sharks a look in, in their 6 tries to one demolition derby.

Rooster Booster

THE Sydney Roosters tonight showed their depth and class as they put away a spirited Manly side 42-20, in front of a packed Brookvale Oval.
